GenixTalk provides "siPerfect® made-to-order chimeras" using CEM™ Amidites as a joint project with RNAi Co., Ltd.

RNAi Co., Ltd, is developing an RNAi sequence-design system that is an indispensable tool for drug research and development for customers with license contracts. The RNAi design system is based on the results of experiments and modelling carried out by Professors Kaoru Saigo and Shinichi Morishita and Assistant Professor Kumiko Tei of the University of Tokyo.
This system is being developed to eliminate the off-target effects of the recently popular microRNA, as well as to provide capabilities that are vital for research on new medicines, such as off-target searching, quantification of off-target effects, gene silencing with common or individual suppression of multiple transcripts, gene silencing across multiple species (siVariant), and the design of optimal siRNA sequences (siPerfect®).

This design system provides "siDirect®" for commercial use and "siDirect®" for academic use. "siDirect®" for academic use (http://design.rnai.jp/sidirect/index.php), valued highly at home and abroad, is managed by Professor Shinichi Morishita and his colleagues at the University of Tokyo and is used in non-profit academic research institutes. "siDirect®" for commercial use is a world-leading design system in development and research in the application of RNAi. RNAi Co., Ltd, offers licenses at a reasonable annual fee. RNAi Co., Ltd, is applying for PCT patents covering 820,000 effective siRNA sequences targeting all human genes and some mouse genes, animal tests, and chimera RNAi. (Some problems with siRNA have been solved by incorporating both RNA and DNA into both the sense and the antisense strands.)
