Transfection reagent: LIC™
LIC™ is a novel cationic liposome developed by Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. It is a very low-toxicity cationic liposome that efficiently delivers RNA into cells. GenixTalk provides LIC™ as an easy-to-use transfection reagent for delivering RNA in vitro.
<Characteristics of LIC™>- It has low cytotoxicity.
- The culture medium need not be changed after delivery of RNA.
- It shows good efficacy in transfecting RNA into the cytosol.
* It cannot be used in in vivo tests, administered to humans, or used for diagnostic purposes.

- Transfection of siRNA complexed with LIC™

Inhibition of expression of Bcl-2 protein by Bcl-2 siRNA in four cancer cell lines.On day 0, seed the cells. It is desirable to have 50-60% confluence after 1 day.
On day 1, change the culture medium and add siRNA/LIC™ complex.
On day 3 or day 4, measure the level of expression of the target protein by western blotting.
